Our classes at Horizon Sports Club offer a fun and inclusive way for children with disabilities to develop physical, social, and emotional skills that can help them thrive both on and off the field.

Horizon Move to the Rhythm

Mondays 4.30-5.15pm @ Aylesbury Vale Academy

This class is a fantastic way for children to work on their balance and co-ordination in a fun environment. Moving to the rhythm of the music makes it more creative and enjoyable.

Multi Sports

Mondays 5.10 – 5.55pm @ Wycombe Leisure Centre
Tuesdays 4.40 - 5.25pm @ Aylesbury Vale Academy

In this class our members will experience and and develop a wide range of skills and take part in a number of sports with a specific focus on exercises to support their individual needs.

Tennis

Tuesdays 5.10 – 5.55pm @ Wycombe Leisure Centre

During these classes our members will work to further develop their hand eye coordination whilst establishing and developing the skills and rules of the game. Classes will also encourage members to cooperate and work with others to enjoy the game to its fullest.

Youth Swimming

Thursday 5.30-6pm @ Wycombe Abbey School

Classes present our members with the valuable opportunity to become confident and safe in the water whilst further developing the skills they already have. Our swimming teachers will work to develop the knowledge and skills required to achieve the ultimate goal of independent swimming.

Junior Swimming

Wednesday 6.30-7.10pm Beginners, 7.10pm-7.50pm Beginners and 7.50-8.30pm Swimmers @ Wycombe Leisure Centre

Horizon junior swimming classes present our members with the valuable opportunity to become confident and safe in the water. Our swimming teachers will work each week to develop the knowledge and skills required to achieve the ultimate outcome of independent swimming. For beginners classes parents will need to accompany children in the pool for support.

Junior Multisports

Wednesday 5.10-5.55pm @ Wycombe Leisure Centre

This class is designed to allow our younger members the opportunity to develop all skills associated with ball-based games. Each week will have a specific sports focus ranging from football to cricket and everything in between. It will not just be the skills of the game but also the rules that will be taught.

Youth Football

Thursday 6 – 6.45pm @ Highcrest Academy

Our youth football classes give our members the opportunity to further develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the game. There will be a short warm up and stretching period, followed by a 15 minute training session where we will focus on a different area of the game each week. Classes will conclude with a game, allowing members to apply the skills they have been practicing.

Our football classes give our members the opportunity to gain skills, knowledge and understanding of the game. Dance

Sunday 9.30-10.10am & 10.15- 10.55am @ Wrights Meadow Centre

A fun Dance class at Wrights Meadow Centre  in High Wycombe with our Dance teacher Alex. Children will enjoy songs, music and movement to include the whole group and spark their imagination. With the later class being more routine based for children ready to move onto learning dance moves.

Tuesdays 5.00 – 6.00pm @ Highcrest Acedemy

During these classes our members will work to further develop their hand eye coordination whilst establishing and developing the skills and rules of the game. Classes will also encourage members to cooperate and work with others to enjoy the game to its fullest.

2:1 Swimming

2:1 Swimming – The Beacon School

Our 2:1 swimming classes give children the opportunity to have a Coach in the pool with them. We have just 2 children in each class making in a calm and quiet environment where they can have dedicated time to help them individually.
